Grasshopper Designs (GD) is a Bow Tie outlet.  GD helps in Bringing the Formal to the Everyday and stands on the philosophy of Bow Ties for All Occasions.  Whatever your bow tie needs are, GD can assist.  
    The GD difference is in the stitching.  Most ties use a single stitch.  General usage and wear can lead to loosening over time, especially for a fabric item that gets stretched and pulled.  GD uses double stitching for the length of the tie and three stitches on the ends.  This level of reinforcement ensures structural rigidity of the tie and long life.
    GD tie offerings come in many different varieties.  There are special occasion and holiday ties in addition to several Signature series ties.

    Below are photos of ties for the holidays, everyday and silk ties.  Most ties are made of printed cotton fabrics.  Cotton fabrics are rather easy to work with and sew, tie and provides and endless array of designs to choose from either for daily wear or to show a festive spirit.  Should you see a design you like, don't hesitate to inquire, since the fabric is usually readily available to obtain.  
    The silk ties were converted regular neckties obtained from thrift stores.  Silk is light weight, a bit harder to sew and gives that formal and classy touch.  The silk ties featured here are examples of what can be done and not available for sale, because they were thrift store acquisitions and therefore designs are not readily available for reproduction.  Should you wish an old or favorite silk necktie of yours to be converted into a bow tie please contact.  Currently a project is underway to develop a photo catalog of our silk necktie inventory available for bow tie conversion.  If you can't wait, simply contact us and we'll work with you to choose a suitable candidate for conversion to fit you needs and desires.
